2025 KTM 390 Enduro R Set to Launch in India on April 11: A Hardcore Off-Road Machine with Rally DNA
KTM India is all set to launch its first-ever Enduro motorcycle – the 2025 KTM 390 Enduro R – on April 11, marking a significant step into the off-road segment. Built on the same platform as the 390 Adventure, the 390 Enduro R is a more hardcore off-road machine, inspired by KTM’s bigger Enduro models. Powering the motorcycle is the familiar 399cc liquid-cooled LC4c engine, which delivers 45.3 bhp and 39 Nm of peak torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox – identical to what’s seen in the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R. Unlike the Adventure variant, the Enduro R gets minimal bodywork, making it significantly lighter at 168kg kerb, which greatly enhances its off-road prowess with an excellent power-to-weight ratio.
To cater to serious off-road enthusiasts, the Indian-spec 390 Enduro R gets 230mm of suspension travel, slightly less than the international R model, but still highly capable. Due to this, the ground clearance is adjusted to 253mm, slightly lower than the export version’s 272mm. Similarly, the seat height is reduced to 860mm, making it more accessible for Indian riders compared to the international model’s 890mm. The bike rides on a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear tubed spoke wheel setup, which is ideal for tackling rough terrains.
Another major highlight is the fully adjustable long-travel WP XPLOR suspension setup—a key factor that separates the Enduro R from the more road-biased Adventure series. The front gets WP XPLOR 43mm USD forks, while the rear is supported by a WP XPLOR monoshock, both offering significant adjustability for compression and rebound to suit a variety of terrains and riding styles. The lightweight steel trellis frame and off-road geometry ensure precise handling, stability on loose surfaces, and enhanced feedback for the rider.
2025 KTM 390 Enduro R Is Expected To Be Price At INR. 3,40,400/-

On the tech front, the 390 Enduro R is equipped with a 4.1-inch color TFT display that supports Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, music controls, and app-based features, ensuring a modern and connected riding experience. With this launch, KTM is targeting a niche group of off-road-focused riders in India, offering them a purpose-built machine that’s ready to take on serious trails straight from the showroom.
The bike is also feature’s traction control, quickshifter+, and ride-by-wire throttle, similar to the new-gen 390 Adventure models, enhancing rider control and performance. With its launch in India, the 2025 KTM 390 Enduro R aims to fill a much-needed gap in the Indian off-road motorcycling segment by offering a true dirt-ready machine that doesn’t compromise on modern tech or performance. Positioned as an accessible, capable, and tech-rich Enduro, it is likely to attract both amateur and serious off-road enthusiasts looking for a no-nonsense adventure tool.
