Hero MotoCorp is set to make a bold statement in the 250cc motorcycle segment with the official launch of the Hero Xtreme 250R on March 20, 2025. Touted as the fastest 250cc motorcycle in India, the Xtreme 250R is a significant leap forward for the brand, offering impressive performance, advanced features, and aggressive styling. At the heart of the Hero Xtreme 250R is a 249cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which produces 30 BHP and 25 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful motorcycle Hero has ever built. The engine is tuned for strong mid-range performance, ensuring quick acceleration with a 0-60 km/h time of just 3.2 seconds. Paired with a six-speed gearbox, the bike also features an assist and slipper clutch, allowing smoother downshifts and reduced rear-wheel lockup during aggressive riding.
